Lath Carlson is a hell of rider and an all around great guy. He has gone to the trouble of organizing the Jim Thorpe Trails Coalition to try and improve access in the JT area. Years ago, JT was the 'mecca' of PA MTB. Then, the PA Game Commission felt it necessary to close some of the best riding in the state for whatever reason they felt was justified, regardless of input from anyone. In any case, it looks like the pendulum is getting closer to swinging the other way, and Lath is there to help it happen in JT so be sure to check it out-
