Saucon Valley Bikes Racing - 2009 Season

5/3/2009 Escape From Granogue-

Let's just say, conditions were a little muddy. In reality- they were downright EPIC. That said, here is a race report that illustrates exactly what Saucon Valley Bikes racing is all about!

Re: Granogue

Dan, I finished, 2 laps in 2 hours 45 minuters ending up 6th. I think I was the last person to finish. The sweep rider caught me half way thru the last. He suggested I could cut across to the start area if I wanted to quit. I made his day by saying " I made it this far, I'm going to finish".
I thought I had suffered on long road races as a junior 30 years ago, nothing compared to this. I'm glad I did it.

4/18/2009 Leesburg Bakers Dozen Report-

We are proud to be back into the action! The team is haping up and racing has begun, with Liz Allen, Josh Reger, and Dan Killingsworth making a strong showing at the Leesburg Bakers Dozen endurance race this past weekend. The Mid-Atlantic Super Series opener was also this past weekend, with Justin Iman taking a podium spot, Bill Bray making his way into 9th place in a very deep field, and a strong mid-pack finish for Scott Alden. Next up- Granogue!
